... Bianca's webpages celebrating the wonderful world of Bichons Frises! Here you'll find everything dedicated to this affectionate, inimitable breed (that's me!).
My Daddy & Mummy created these webpages in the hope that parents & would-be parents of Bichons Frises can learn of the history, health concerns, grooming care and other needs of our kind. I mean, even supermodels don't look that good when they get out of bed. Bichons Frises look the way they do in showrings, on magazine/calendar covers and in pictures (all fluffed up & pretty) because someone went to great lengths.
Speaking of showrings, my mummy has recently completed her research about Bichons Frises in Singapore…. from the very first import in 1977 to the various Champions that were made up. Be sure to read about them in The Bichon Frise in Singapore and The Singapore Showring.
Anyway, back to Daddy's & Mummy's inspiration for these webpages. Viva is used by the Italians & Spanish (two cultures that figured somewhat prominently in our history) to express acclamation, salutation and applause. So for all you fanciers who feel the same way, I hope you find these webpages a helpful resource that you'll return to again & again.
